Oh God, the Almighty One, the Great I Am,
We come to you in adoration and awe.
You alone are Holy.
You alone are Good.
There is none like you.
We accept your guidance
And await patiently
to hear your voice.
We ask for forgiveness, as we know the Saints have stood back
For way to long in toleration and acceptance of those things
you label as sin in your holy scripture.
Help us to come together in one mind and one accord
in unity to say, "No more." -- No more toleration for
the things you say are unholy.
We know the price that Jesus paid was more than we
could ever possibly comprehend.
We thank you for sending Jesus to pay the price of our sins.
We acknowledge those things as they are today and ask you for
the wisdom necessary to change the things that need to be changed.
What we want in the world is to do your will on Earth as
your will is done in Heaven.
Forgive us, Oh God, for not turning to you sooner.
We proclaim that you alone are the way, the truth and the life.
We stand together as one body to give reverence to the Almighty King.
Lord, the enemy goes about as a mighty lion, seeking whom he may devour.
But we know, as in the days of Daniel, that the Lion is a tiny creature in the
palm of your hand and that one mighty breath can put him to an end.
We know that the victory is yours and was won that day on Calvary when
the precious blood of Jesus was forever victorious.
Help us to not fear what has already been defeated.
Help us to accept the gift you gave of a more abundant life
Help us to remember that nothing is impossible with you.
Oh, Lord - our strength and our redeemer.
In Jesus name we pray,
